ABOUT US
We are a mum and daughter duo who have been collecting and sourcing old treasures for as long as we can remember.
Our backgrounds in photography, styling and fashion design go hand-in-hand with sourcing unique and interesting pieces that we use to embellish the work we do, so it's no surprise that one of our absolute favourite pastimes is having a good rummage and discovering the "old stuff" that makes our hearts sing.
When we started, the many pieces we had, were props used for shoots - gathered over time or from our personal collections. But as things continued and changing trends emerged, our hunting-and-gathering skills became very much part of our day-to-day jobs, and before we knew it, other stylists, photographers and designers were onto us in search of props.
In many ways, collecting the things we love has enriched who we are. We both agree that we couldn't imagine life without our precious finds: George with her fabulous eclectic fashion with a need to embellish her displays and me with decorative paraphernalia to prop all my photography work.
We like to think we're doing our bit for the planet, reducing our carbon footprint and rescuing those old 'weathered and worn' pieces from the dreaded landfill.
So, twice a year, we swing open our doors, offering many of our finds up for sale. As the years have gone by, our friends and our regular visitors have made a 'bee-line' to our pop-ups looking for that something that is a reflection of them and makes their house a home. We've met so many fabulous creatives and inspiring people, who have become life-long friends.
